About Community In Action Help Center

At Community In Action Help Center, our mission is to bridge the gap between community needs and agency availability. We know it can be a challenge to hold a job and be available for the children too young to get home to an empty house, we will be a safe place for as many as we can at an affordable cost. We also believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to call home, and we will work tirelessly to find a house to make a family shelter to assist families to get back on their feet and into a home of their own. Working with the community, because " it takes a village"! ❤️ 

Hello, My name is Heather, I am Creator and Director of Community In Action Help Center. My goal is to help families in need to not be families in need! I am a mother to 8 amazing people and grammy to 25. My life has not been easy, so I understand the simplest life issues and also some of the hardest. We offer clothing assistance, Kids Club and even a inexpensive thrift store shopping experience. We also believe your W2 does not always reflect life's challenges. Never be afraid to ask for help and never miss the opportunity to be someone else's blessing! 🙏XOXO

I would like to introduce you to Theresa, she is a support person at CIAHC as well as an instructor for our youth programs.  Theresa is a mom to a son and 2 beautiful daughters and another daughter on the way. As an intake specialist she works alongside Lisette to assist you.

I would like to introduce you to Lisette. She is a mother to 2 beautiful girls. She is a support specialist at Community In Action Help Center and works along side Theresa to assist you in everyday needs and the Coordinator for our BIRTHDAY PROJECT. The Birthday Project is a program that celebrates birthdays in a special way. If you have a NEW toy or gift you would like to donate, contact Lisette.
